Determination of geotechnical parameters
Drilling geophysical surveys provide important information on the stability and characteristics of the subsoil.
On the one hand, decreasing geotechnical quantities can be determined.
These include:
Rock density,
Elastic wave velocity,
Shear modulus,
Poisson's ratio
(gamma-gamma density measurements and sonic logging measurements).
On the other hand, with regard to the geological information on the stratum interfaces, the zones of joins and faults and their localization. Visualization is facilitated by imaging techniques such as sonic and optical scanning.
The acquired data will determine the stability of these structures.
